The distribution of zeros of solutions for a class of third order differential equation

چکیده
For third order linear differential equations of the form r(t)x'(t)''+ p(t)x'(t) + q(t)x(t) = 0; we will establish lower bounds for distance between zeros a solution and/or its derivatives. The main results be proved by making use Hardyís inequality, some generalizations Opialís inequality and Boydís inequality.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

ON THE PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF A CLASS OF nTH ORDER NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS *
The nth order differential equation x + c (t )x + ƒ( t,x) = e(t),n>3 is considered. Using the Leray-Schauder principle, it is shown that under certain conditions on the functions involved, this equation possesses a periodic solution.

15 صفحه اولBoundedness of Solutions of a Third-order Nonlinear Differential Equation
Sufficient conditions are established for the boundedness of all solutions of (1.1), and we also present some sufficient conditions, which ensure that the limits of first and second order derivatives of the solutions of (1.1) tend to zero as t→∞. Our results improve and include those results obtained by previous authors ([3], [5]).
